The 18.7\% cost reduction is achieved without resorting to excessive
stockout risk: service level declines by only 1.4 percentage points,
remaining above 93\% -- a threshold widely considered acceptable for
non-safety-critical parts. The carbon footprint reduction of 23.4\% is
particularly noteworthy because it is obtained through smarter stocking
decisions rather than technology substitution, making it immediately
actionable. Figure~\ref{fig:inventory} displays both the absolute values
and the Pareto trade-off frontier.
